JACK B. STEIN, LCSW, PhD

I am a licensed clinical social worker with decades of experience inspiring and motivating others to be the best version of themselves. I am also a certified executive coach working to motivate and inspire high performance while maintaining a healthy work/life balance. I find a special satisfaction helping people transition into the next phase of their personal and professional lives. 

I worked in a variety of settings throughout my career involving counseling, supervision, policy and communications. Over the past 25 years, I held numerous senior advisory positions in the federal government including the Executive Office of the President and the National Institutes of Health where I worked alongside many of the world’s leading experts on mental health and addiction. These experiences continually inform my therapy and coaching practice to ensure it reflects the most current understanding of human behavior and positive change. 

My partner Peter and I have been together for over 30 years and reside in Washington, DC and Fort Lauderdale, Florida along with our Russell Terrier, Rocco (special guest appearances made during sessions upon request).
